This morning, at a very early 6:30am, the Legacy Fellowship men met for prayer. It is a regular meeting that we men at Legacy have had for about 2 months now and Tony has been attending regularly. Today was different though. Not only was Tony there, but the rest of the staff men were there too. I felt a bit beside myself. I was looking at the foundation of our church. I was looking at the men God has chosen to be the earthy leaders of a part of His church body. I was looking at a group of talented, creative and tall men who were chosen to lead. And I thought, “God, what the heck am I doing here?” I am truly honored to be a part of the staff at Legacy Fellowship. More so, I am honored to stand shoulder to shoulder with the men of Legacy in order to share His word and fulfill his plan to love the people of Cedar Park, Leander, Georgetown, Pflugerville and Austin. Most of all, I am honored just to be chosen by God. He has put something in our hearts that we now must pour out and I will be doing it alongside my friends.
Now, can we talk about scheduling this prayer meeting at a reasonable hour?

I’d like to point out that this was the first week I was available for Man Prayer.
Not like the rest of you sluggards who’ve been skipping out
