It’s cold outside, must be time for ice cream.

I don’t know what it is about cold, nasty weather that makes me crave ice cream but it almost always does.  Last night we only had a few students at youth service so I decided to drive us all over to Marble Slap and grab some creamy, delectable goodness in a chocolate dipped cone.  Oh, very nice.  You know, most folks think of chili or soup or hot cocoa when it’s cold and nasty, not Dave, no sir.  I want to mix things up and keep ‘em exciting.  I am an odd bird but I am okay with that.  But, you know what, every one of the teens last night was pumped that we were going to get some ice cream.  They like mixing it up too.  They like to go against the grain a little bit.  They like to do what nobody else is doing.  At least, I think they like that stuff.  Maybe they just like ice cream and I am reaching way too hard to find some kind of link between my way of thinking and teenagers.
